Ship “flaps” when pausing/resuming

The ship reacts to the press of the pause button in the same way as the rest of the screen presses. It propels the ship upwards slightly.

I’m not entirely certain this is desired behaviour, and I would like to find a way to prevent it from happening.

Guidance laser transparency issue

For some reason, it appears that the guidance lasers only appear once properly, then every subsequent time they have an increased opacity :/

See attached image. The left is the first time, the right is the second time the guidance lasers appear.

Bullet X speed issue

For some reason, the bullets x speed doesn’t match that of the cannon. This means that after the bullet has been fired, it drifts to the left rather than flying in a straight line. (See attached image with a line showing where the bullet should be flying)
